Alex Advani has spent his consulting career applying his deep analytical experience and skills to biopharmaceutical strategy. His work includes launch strategy, site of care analysis, account profiling, opportunity assessments, and portfolio development strategy. He has deep expertise in multiple therapeutic areas such as hematology/oncology, genetic and rare disease, and infectious disease. Alex received Ph.D. and Master’s degrees in Genetics, Genomics, and Systems Biology from the University of Chicago and a B.A. in Biology from Duke University.

Alonzo is the current Manager of HR and Operations for LifeSci Partners. He brings a wealth of administrative, logistical and leadership expertise to the firm, after having over 15 years of support experience with both internal and external clients at Clear Channel/iHeart Media, Angelo, Gordon & Co., and Citigroup. Known as the “Concierge”, Alonzo is responsible for daily office management operations, assisting in Diversity and Inclusion initiatives, onboarding both new clients and employees, and basically just getting “IT” done. He is a native of Nashville, TN and now resides in NYC as guardian to his dog and cat.

As a consultant, Amanda has focused on the therapeutic areas of oncology and rare neurological diseases. She has experience in the evolution of medical devices and development of specialty pharmacy drug programs. Amanda’s extensive analytical experience has been applied to secondary and primary research. Her previous work includes competitive assessments, development of treatment landscapes, as well as pipeline and clinical development analyses. Prior to consulting, Amanda worked as a postdoc at the University of Chicago where she developed a CRISPR pipeline for human cell culture systems. Her PhD research in cell and structural biology was performed at EMBL in Heidelberg, Germany. Amanda has earned a BS/MS in Chemistry at Stevens Institute of Technology in Hoboken NJ.

Blake joined LifeSci in March 2022 with over 8 years of academic and industry research experience spanning multiple disciplines including neuroscience (aging, Alzheimer’s Disease, Parkinson’s Disease, and other movement disorders), cardiovascular disease, and genetics. He specialized in the use of imaging techniques (MRI, fMRI, PET) to study the mechanisms underlying degenerative age-related processes in the body. Prior to joining LifeSci, Blake received his B.S. degree in Biomedical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) in 2016. He next matriculated in the Neuroscience Graduate Program (NGP) in the Wake Forest School of Medicine and earned his Ph.D. in Neuroscience in 2021. He then completed a postdoctoral research fellowship in the Vanderbilt Memory and Alzheimer’s center.

His work includes commercial due diligence, asset valuation, commercial launch strategy, and portfolio strategy across numerous therapeutic areas. Prior to LifeSci, Chris was a Consultant at Trinity, a life science strategy consulting firm. He received a B.A. in Economics from Middlebury College.

Cristiano has more than 25 years of leadership experience in corporate development, strategy and sales and marketing with experience accross the spectrum of life science companies. Cristiano was previously VP, Head of Corporate Licensing at Grünenthal Pharmaceuticals where he executed some of their major deals. Prior to Grünenthal, Cristiano held various business development, sales and marketing, strategy roles with increasing responsibility at Menarini Pharmaceuticals. Cristiano has supported 18 sell and buy-side transactions totaling over $2B in deal value. Cristiano graduated from the University of Genova Medical School.

Gabby is an Analyst at LifeSci Consulting. Gabby earned her B.S. in Biology at Pepperdine University. Here, she participated in clinical research in regenerative and emergency medicine. Gabby has studied the efficacy of stem cell and PRP treatments on shoulder pain, wrist pain, and lower back pain. Additionally, at Children’s National Medical Center in Washington D.C., Gabby studied the impact of cognitive rest on prolonged concussion symptoms. She has experience in designing clinical research protocols, gathering and analyzing data, and writing scientific publications for peer review. In addition to her clinical research experience, she has experience in biological and chemical research having performed studies extracting and sequencing DNA as well as performing mass spectrometry to analyze chemical samples. Gabby also has experience in business strategy in the skincare industry, performing competitor analyses, pricing strategies, and sales forecasting. She is passionate about merging her interests in science and business strategy.

Georgia has been working in the Life Sciences industry for nearly 10 years, beginning her career in corporate development, before moving into executive search where she partnered with biotech companies, primarily in the Boston area, to scale and optimize their boards and executive teams through key inflection points. Georgia joined LifeSci Partners in March 2020.

Isaac joined LifeSci in June 2021. His work includes competitive landscape assessments, commercial due diligence, and portfolio strategy across several therapeutic areas and modalities. He holds a B.A. in Economics from Cornell University, where he also completed the pre-medicine track. He proceeded to gain an M.S. in Biotechnology from the University of Pennsylvania, with an academic focus on cancer biology and immunology. Prior to joining LifeSci, Isaac worked at the Center for Cellular Immunotherapies (CCI) at the University of Pennsylvania where he conducted lab research on novel CAR-T therapies. He was also a member of Wharton’s Penn Biotech Group (PBG), which consults with clients in the life sciences space.

Prior to joining LifeSci, Jackie worked in patient care coordination and research at a healthcare start up and interned at Acer Inc. Jackie received her B.S. in Biology from the University of California, Los Angeles. During her time at UCLA, she participated in ecology and evolutionary biology research as part of the Yeh Lab and was actively involved in campus-wide entrepreneurship initiatives.

Jackie joined LifeSci Consulting in December 2021. Her work has included competitive intelligence, opportunity assessments, and partnering engagements in various therapeutic areas. Jackie received a B.S. and M.S. in Biochemistry through an accelerated dual degree program from McGill University. Her graduate research focused on Alzheimer’s Disease; her goal was to further characterize the role of a rhomboid protease within a novel cellular pathway implicated in the disease by utilizing mass spectrometry bioinformatics to elucidate its proteomic interactome map.

Jason has over 12 years of experience in the life sciences industry supporting transactions and executing strategy consulting engagements across numerous therapeutic areas. Jason has supported sell-side and buy-side transactions totaling over $3.2B in deal value and has executed >150 strategy consulting engagements. Jason was previously a co-founder of the Partnering & Analytics division at LifeSci Partners prior to the formation of LifeSci Consulting, which was the result of the merger with Corsica Life Sciences. Jason received an M.B.A. from the McColl School of Business at Queens University of Charlotte and a B.S. in Physics and Math from Siena College.

Jeff has over 9 years' experience in consulting encompassing over 100 consulting engagements spannign therapeutic areas and project types. Areas of particularly deep expertise include neurobiology, rare disease, specialty pharmaceuticals, competitive strategy, and product launch. Jeff is excited to bring the expanded capabilities of LifeSci consulting to bear for existing as well as new clients.
Prior to the merger which created LifeSci Consulting, Jeff was a founding team member of Corsica Life Sciences and a consultant with Campbell Alliance/Syneos Health.
Jeff received a Ph.D. in Human Genetics from the University of Chicago and a B.S. in Genetics from Iowa State University.

Joe is a Manager at LifeSci Consulting, where his work spans competitive intelligence analyses, commercial opportunity assessments, asset valuation analyses, and strategic partnering advisory across numerous therapeutic areas. Prior to joining LifeSci, he was a Strategic Partnerships Lead at nference, a Biomedical AI firm, where he built strategic partnerships with pharma companies and leveraged analytical tools for drug discovery engagements. Prior to nference, he was a Venture Fellow at Spartan Innovations, where he developed commercialization strategies for university technologies, including a gene therapy platform for CNS therapeutics. He holds a PhD in Biomedical Engineering and a BS in Neuroscience through an accelerated BS/PhD program at Michigan State University. His doctoral research developed genetic engineering and electrophysiological techniques to improve the use of microelectrode arrays implanted in the brain. His PhD produced 10+ peer-reviewed scientific publications.

Leah has spent the last 5+ years in life sciences and healthcare consulting leveraging her deep analytical and pharmacological experience. Having joined the LifeSci team in 2021 from Putnam Associates, she continues to manage the strategic assessment and execution of scientific, clinical, and commercial goals in areas including: oncology/hematology, rare diseases, vaccines and cell & gene therapy. Prior to joining Putnam Associates, Leah worked and mentored graduate teams in pro bono consulting enagements for Boston-based biotechnology start-up firms. She received her Ph.D. from Boston University School of Medicine in Pharmacology and a B.A. in Chemistry from Mount Holyoke College.

Matthew has spent the past 3+ years working in life sciences and healthcare consulting. Now a Senior Consultant, he applies his background and experience in launch strategy, opportunity assessment, and new product planning. He has worked across a variety of therapeutic areas where he has conducted primary research with physicians, payers, and patients. Matthew received his B.S. in Chemistry from the University of Southern California. During his time at USC, he was an undergraduate research assistant in the Jung Lab where he worked on the design and synthesis of novel catalysts to facilitate the discovery of deuterium labelled pharmaceutical compounds.

Michael was previously a partner with several strategy consulting firms, including Campbell Alliance (now Syneos Health), where he led commercial strategy for the Eastern U.S. and led launch globally. He has successfully delivered 400+ strategy engagements with life sciences clients throughout his career. He received a M.B.A. from Ross School of Business at University of Michigan and a B.S. in Engineering from Cornell University.

Price Consulting which is a public health consulting practice, interned for a community health non-profit, and did independent contract work for various state public health organizations. Born and raised in Chicago, Nidhi completed a B.A. in Public Health with a minor Bioengineering from the University of Illinois at Chicago. At UIC, she conducted research within the UIC College of Dentistry and School of Public Health, and was a nationally ranked speech and debate competitor.

Robert co-founded and helped grow Corsica Life Sciences Consulting into a premier boutique Commercial Strategy firm, and is excited to bring the same passion and expertise to LifeSci Consulting. Prior to founding Corsica, Robert helped drive the diversification of Campbell Alliance's Southwest Region’s client base into the growing Orange County / San Diego markets. Robert received an MBA from Hough Graduate School of Business at the University of Florida; a PhD in Computational Biochemistry from University of Florida; and a BA in Biochemistry from the University of San Diego.

Tyler has been a member of the LifeSci Consulting team since August 2021, where he has focused on a variety of projects including competitive intelligence and commecial opportunity assessments. Prior to joining LifeSci, Tyler has worked in several different laboratories especially investigating tumor margin optimization in breast cancer lumpectomies. He was also a trained emergency medical technician (EMT) and COVID-19 contact tracer. He graduated from Bucknell University with a B.A. in Biology. During his time at Bucknell he served as a two-year captain of the Men’s Varsity Soccer Team, held positions on several campus leadership committees, and was a strong contributor to the Lewisburg community.

Prior to joining LifeSci, Vanessa worked at the Yale Center for Clinical Investigation supporting clinical research related to COVID-19. She graduated from Yale University with a B.A. in History of Science, Medicine, and Public Health and completed the pre-medicine track. During her time at Yale, she conducted research in the Chun Lab at the Yale Cardiovascular Research Center, served as captain of the Women’s Varsity Lacrosse Team, and volunteered for a non-profit organization called Camp Kesem.

Xinxin is a Consultant at LifeSci Consulting. She worked as a Consultant at Corsica Life Sciences starting September 2020 and has focused mainly on market landscape and opportunity assessment. She has significant experience in conducting primary and secondary market research in various therapeutic areas including oncology and rare diseases. Prior to Corsica, Xinxin graduated from University of California San Diego with her PhD in Biomedical Sciences, with research projects in genetics and genomics. Prior to UCSD, she started her graduate school at University of Chicago before her lab moved from Chicago to San Diego. Before graduate school, Xinxin graduated Smith College with double majors in Biological Sciences and Psychology.
