Our Team

Alex Advani has spent his consulting career applying his deep analytical experience and skills to biopharmaceutical strategy. His work includes launch strategy, site of care and account profiling, opportunity assessment, indication prioritization, and portfolio development strategy. He has deep expertise in multiple therapeutic areas such as solid tumors and hematology/oncology, genetic and rare disease, and immunology. Alex received Ph.D. and Master’s degrees in Genetics, Genomics, and Systems Biology from the University of Chicago and a B.A. in Biology from Duke University.

Alex joined LifeSci Consulting as an Analyst in 2026. He holds an MSc in Bioscience Innovation and Enterprise from UCL and a BSc in Biological Sciences from Durham University. His academic training provides a strong scientific foundation, complemented by hands-on experience across biotech start-ups, venture capital, and early-stage commercial strategy.

Alex has supported commercial strategy development for AI-enabled SaaS platforms at Curenetics and OncoFlow, working across both European and US markets. At Laverock Therapeutics, a cell therapy start-up, he applied financial modelling expertise to evaluate out-licensing and partnership options, delivering clear recommendations that supported the efficient advancement of the company’s immuno-oncology programmes. He subsequently applied this experience to a cell and gene therapy scouting project in collaboration with University of Birmingham Enterprise, helping to improve transparency and opportunity for researchers and founders in the space.

Alex has a particular interest in therapeutic oncology and biopharma strategy, leveraging his analytical skillset to support the successful translation of innovative therapies to market, through the optimisation of operational costs and strategy.

Amy joined the LifeSci Consulting team in August 2023. Her work includes cost optimization, project management, change management, and operational transformation as well as helping clients to optimize their processes, navigate change, and manage costs. Before joining LifeSci, Amy worked at 4C Associates within the Life Sciences. During this time, she worked on process optimization, procurement excellence, and cost optimization projects for large pharmaceutical clients both in Europe and the US. Prior to her career in consulting Amy worked in in-house procurement, focusing on strategic sourcing within the marketing category. She has a degree in Biological Sciences and experience working within Research and Development and Drug Discovery.

Andrew joined LifeSci Consulting as an Analyst in 2026. He earned his B.A. in Chemistry with a minor in Economics from Emory University, graduating Phi Beta Kappa and Omicron Delta Epsilon, and brings a combination of laboratory and industry experience.

At BioMarin Pharmaceutical, he interned on the Network Strategy team, where he supported integration management for the company's acquisition of Inozyme Pharma and developed supply chain visualizations of the company's full commercial network to identify bottlenecks and enable optimization for executive decision-making.

At Emory's Lowance Center for Human Immunology, he worked in a laboratory researching a pathway believed to contribute to autoreactivity in systemic lupus erythematosus, collecting data on a large panel of monoclonal antibodies at different development stages to identify patterns between gene expression and B cell autoreactivity. On campus, he served as Director of Programming for the Emory Life Science Consulting Club, coordinating on-campus and virtual events including client meetings, casing workshops, and guest speakers.

Arielle joined LifeSci Consulting as an Analyst in 2025. She holds a B.A. in Human Health from Emory University and brings experience at the intersection of clinical research and healthcare strategy. At the Atlanta VA Medical Center, she supported a clinical trial evaluating pharmacological interventions to reduce alcohol use in veterans with HIV, contributing to trial execution through patient recruitment, data management, and outcome analysis. She also worked in strategic planning at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, conducting market research and competitive assessments to inform executive-level decision-making. Arielle was on the founding board of Emory’s undergraduate life sciences consulting club and served as its Vice President. Recognizing a gap in opportunities for students to connect business and science, she helped establish the organization as a platform for consulting projects with biotech, pharmaceutical, and healthcare companies. Arielle is particularly interested in pharmaceutical and biopharma strategy, leveraging her scientific and analytical background to help bring innovative therapies to market.

Bert has spent his career in biopharmaceutical strategy consulting. Bert's work includes opportunity assessments, commercial strategy, and asset valuations across diverse therapeutic areas. Prior to LifeSci, he was an Engagement Manager at Trinity Life Sciences. Bert is a graduate of UC Berkeley, where he received a BA in Public Health with a focus in Health Economics.

Camila joined LifeSci Consulting as an Analyst in 2026. She has a B.S. in Biology & Society and a minor in Business from Cornell University. Prior to joining LifeSci Camila was a Corporate Strategy Intern at Lupin Pharmaceuticals where she evaluated the impact of tariff policy on pharmaceutical operations and conducted competitive analysis of mergers and acquisitions to build speciality portfolio growth opportunities. In analyzing industry trends, product launches, and global business performances she grew interested in continuing to work on the business end of pharmaceuticals. She also served as a Research Intern at Georgetown University's Lombardi Cancer Center, where she used bioinformatics tools to investigate gene regulators and biomarkers related to PFAS exposure and cancer development. Camila is passionate about the intersection of life science research, pharmaceuticals, and business. At LifeSci, she is excited to continue supporting the development and commercialization of innovative therapies through helping biopharmaceutical companies bring new medicines to market and improve patient access to care.

Cem has 15 years of experience providing strategic advisory services to life sciences companies across the globe, spanning corporate strategy, commercialization, and launch. Cem has executed 250+ strategy consulting engagements across Top 10 pharmaceutical companies and clinical-stage biotechs, with a focus on late-stage and go-to-market strategy across the U.S. and ex-U.S. markets. Cem has worked across numerous therapeutic areas, including rare/orphan diseases, solid tumors, cardiovascular, and immunology. Cem was previously a Principal at ClearView and a Manager at ZS. Cem received a B.S. in Industrial Engineering and Economics from Northwestern University.

Chloe joined LifeSci Consulting as a Consultant in June of 2026. She earned her BA in Biopsychology, Cognition, and Neuroscience from the University of Michigan, where she also completed an Erb Institute Fellowship bridging business and sustainability at the Ross School of Business. During her undergrad years, she conducted behavioral and psychophysiological research at the Ross School of Business Behavioral Lab, where she designed and administered consumer behavior studies. Prior to joining LifeSci, Chloe worked at Trinity Life Sciences, where she advised biopharmaceutical and biotech clients on commercial strategy, market access, and asset valuation across oncology, neurology, cardiology, and rare disease.

Cristiano has more than 25 years of leadership experience in corporate development, strategy and sales and marketing with experience accross the spectrum of life science companies. Cristiano was previously VP, Head of Corporate Licensing at Grünenthal Pharmaceuticals where he executed some of their major deals. Prior to Grünenthal, Cristiano held various business development, sales and marketing, strategy roles with increasing responsibility at Menarini Pharmaceuticals. Cristiano has supported 18 sell and buy-side transactions totaling over $2B in deal value. Cristiano graduated from the University of Genova Medical School.

Dan has been a member of the LifeSci Consulting team since June 2022. His work includes competitive landscape and commercial opportunity assessments, business case development, and new product planning across therapeutic areas and modalities, with a specialization in oncology and cell therapy. Prior to LifeSci, he graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign with a dual degree in Molecular Biology and Economics and completed internships in biotechnology business development and healthcare venture capital.

David Blaszczak brings over 25 years of healthcare experience across both the public and private sectors, with a focus on pharmaceuticals, medical technology, and healthcare policy. He has advised C-suite executives and boards of leading healthcare companies

on market access, reimbursement strategy, regulatory trends, payer contracting, and growth strategy.

David began his career at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services and the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), contributing to major Medicare and Medicaid payment policies and serving as a liaison to Congress and key healthcare stakeholders.

He was also selected as an external advisor to the FDA and CMS to improve collaboration on product approval, payment, and coverage decisions.

In the private sector, David has worked as a consultant supporting investors, med tech firms, and pharmaceutical companies with market access and pricing strategy, regulatory insight, reimbursement trends, and strategic planning. He has led advisory practices

for healthcare consulting firms, managed diligence projects for private equity clients, and built launch strategies for device and drug manufacturers and negotiated reimbursement and coverage contracts among payers.

David is a recognized expert in healthcare delivery and reimbursement, frequently invited to speak at industry and academic events, including Harvard Business School, Yale School of Medicine, and Wharton.

Dom is a Senior Consultant at Life Sci Consulting, specialising in operations strategy, supply chain transformation, and organisational change. He works with life sciences organisations to improve operational performance, optimise supply chains, and deliver complex transformation programmes.

Drawing on experience across pharmaceutical and consumer health businesses, Dom has supported clients with operating model design, procurement and outsourcing strategy, logistics optimisation, commercial analysis, and programme delivery. He combines rigorous analytical thinking with a practical, results-oriented approach to help clients make confident decisions and achieve lasting impact.

Isabelle joined LifeSci Consulting as an Analyst in August 2022. She earned her B.A. in Neuroscience from the University of Pennsylvania. She previously worked as a research assistant in Emory University’s Lab of Biomedical Pharmacology, focusing on HIV and Hepatitis B and C research. She was an intern at the San Diego-based venture Human Longevity, where she studied genetics in the context of precision healthcare. There, she worked to contribute to their goal of building the world’s most comprehensive database on human genotypes and phenotypes, which, when subjected to machine learning, are a means to develop innovative solutions to fight diseases associated with aging. Additionally, Isabelle has experience working as an investment analyst at 25Madison and Arcadian Capital where she researched and proposed various investment opportunities, led investor outreach initiatives, and produced investor-facing reports. Isabelle is excited about opportunities in the intersection of business and science where she can continue to leverage her passions and skills.

Jack joined LifeSci Consulting as an Senior Analyst in July 2023. Prior to LifeSci, Jack interned at the Wolverine Foundation, a rare genetic disorder foundation researching treatment for MAPK8IP3 Related Deficiency. He coordinated the registration of the disorder on various rare disease registries which assisted in finding other patients and research. Jack also interned at Edgewater Markets, a foreign exchange trading platform where he traded currencies and built financial acumen. Jack graduated from Boston College with a B.S. in Psychology.

Jackie joined the team as an Analyst in September 2020, and has focused on developing expertise in market landscapes and opportunity assessments across various therapeutic areas. Prior to joining LifeSci, Jackie worked in patient care coordination and research at a healthcare start up and interned at Acer Inc. Jackie received her B.S. in Biology from the University of California, Los Angeles. During her time at UCLA, she participated in ecology and evolutionary biology research as part of the Yeh Lab and was actively involved in campus-wide entrepreneurship initiatives.

Jason joined LifeSci in July 2022, developing broad expertise in commercial opportunity assessments and transaction advisory. Before LifeSci, Jason interned for a biotechnology startup, where he identified and utilized bioinformatic data to construct cancer proteomic databases. Jason earned a B.S. in Molecular and Medical Microbiology as well as a B.A. in Economics from the University of California, Davis.

Jason has 15 years of experience in the life sciences industry supporting transactions and executing strategy consulting engagements across numerous therapeutic areas. Jason has supported sell-side and buy-side transactions totaling over $5B in deal value and has executed >250 strategy consulting engagements. Jason was previously a co-founder of the Partnering & Analytics division at LifeSci Partners prior to the formation of LifeSci Consulting. Jason received an M.B.A. from the McColl School of Business at Queens University of Charlotte and a B.S. in Physics and Math from Siena College.

Jennifer earned her PhD in Bioengineering from the University of Pittsburgh in 2024 and her BS in Biomedical Engineering from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2019. Her doctoral research in the Rehab Neural Engineering Labs focused on developing brain stimulation methods and tools for stroke rehabilitation, targeting motor and attention deficits. At VCU, she was also involved in brain modeling research and medical device development. Before joining LifeSci, Jennifer was a Senior Associate at GLG, where she supported market research for biopharma, medtech, and healthcare services investors.

Jiayang joined LifeSci in June 2024, bringing deep expertise in various therapeutic areas, including oncology, ophthalmology, neurology, hematology, and rare diseases. He leverages his strong scientific background and business acumen in life science consulting, having worked on projects such as market assessment, competitive intelligence, indication prioritization, market access and pricing strategy, and commercial strategy.

Before joining LifeSci, Jiayang was a life science specialist at L.E.K. Consulting. He completed his Ph.D. in Molecular Cell Biology at Washington University in St. Louis, where he studied rare human genetic disorders and bioinformatics. He also holds a B.S. in Biological Sciences from Fudan University in Shanghai, China.

Lindsay joined LifeSci Consulting as a Consultant in 2025. She earned her Ph.D. in Neuroscience from Baylor College of Medicine, where she led research integrating functional MRI, spatial proteomics, and behavioral assessments to identify early biomarkers of Alzheimer’s disease. During her graduate school training, she also held roles in clinical content development at Koda Health and completed a clinical internship at Northwestern University. Prior to joining LifeSci, Lindsay served as a Clinical Research Associate at Medpace, supporting Phase I–III trials through site monitoring, data verification, and ensuring protocol compliance. Lindsay is interested in leveraging her scientific and clinical background to support strategic decision-making across the biopharmaceutical and life sciences sectors.

Louisa brings over ten years of experience to her work supporting transformation across the life sciences industry, with the aim of maximizing value for patients. Louisa's work predominantly focuses on providing operating model, organization design and leadership effectiveness advice and transformation support. She has an established record of developing effective, practical and costed solutions to drive growth, sustainability and efficiency.

Louisa's work is underpinned by her MSc in Occupational Psychology and background in Life Sciences transformation at Deloitte.

Michael has more than 15 years of experience providing strategic advisory services life sciences companies from across the globe. Michael has supported transactions totaling over $3.3 billion and executed 150+ strategic consulting mandates spanning various therapeutic areas to include Oncology, CNS, Immunology, Inflammation, Dermatology, and Ophthalmology. Michael previously co-founded LifeSci Partnering and Analytics, the predecessor group to LifeSci Consulting. Michael received a B.A. in Economics and English from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Mike joined the LifeSci Consulting team in November 2019. He has supported both sell-side and buy-side transactions totaling more than $1B in deal value, along with a range of strategy consulting engagements across multiple therapeutic areas. His work includes commercial opportunity assessments, asset valuations, portfolio / BD strategy assessments, and transaction comparables analyses. Prior to joining LifeSci, Mike graduated from the College of the Holy Cross with a B.A. in Economics.

Nick is a leading advisor to the Life Sciences industry at the forefront of margin improvement, operating model transformation, and digital innovation. He has spent over a decade in the Life Sciences sector advising a broad range of clients on their most complex cost and operational challenges. Nick has an established track record as a leading advisor to senior leadership at these major global organizations and is consistently trusted to deliver a lasting impact on ways of working and the P&L.

Before joining LifeSci Consulting, Perisa graduated from the University of York with an MChem in Chemistry with Medicinal and Biological Chemistry, where she worked on developing novel methods of metal-mediated and N-terminal protein modifications in her master's year. During her studies, she interned with the medical affairs team at Novartis in addition to Novartis Gene Therapies, where she developed her understanding of the corporate and commercial aspects of the pharmaceutical industry.

Perisa then joined the LifeSci Consulting OSO team initially as an intern but more recently as an analyst, where she is currently developing her understanding and skillsets surrounding global clinical trial outsourcing for biotechs.

Phil brings several years of clinical research experience in oncology and radiology to his work supporting clients at LifeSci. His background in clinical drug development guides his strategic recommendations and commercial assessments.

His work includes commercial due diligence and valuation, with a specialization in oncology. Prior to joining LifeSci, Phil worked at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center supporting early-stage clinical research related to the development of radiotherapies and novel imaging agents.

Susie joined the LifeSci Consulting team in April 2025. Prior to joining LifeSci, Susie worked in Accenture’s Life Sciences Strategy & Consulting team supporting corporate strategy, transformation and change management programs. She specializes in partnering with senior leaders to understand their goals and redesign capabilities and operating models that optimize how teams work.

She holds a BSc in Biological Sciences from Imperial College London.

Tate joined LifeSci Consulting as an Analyst in July 2026. She holds a B.A. in Human Biology with a concentration in Health and Health Policy from Stanford University. Tate brings experience across healthcare strategy, public health, and scientific research. At Nuna Inc., she developed provider and customer engagement strategies and contributed to product design. At the NYC Office of Emergency Management's Health and Medical Unit, she helped develop emergency protocols, including for reduced air quality events. She has also conducted laboratory research at Columbia University's Department of Microbiology and Immunology, investigating a long noncoding RNA gene and its role in HIV infection.

At Stanford, Tate worked with Stanford Medicine's Our Voice Initiative to coordinate community science projects with Cedars-Sinai Hospital and the Women's Health Initiative, and partnered with the San Mateo Office of Education to bring community science to primary school classrooms.

Tate is passionate about healthcare strategy and life sciences and translating scientific insight into real-world impact for patients and health systems.

Trey has spent his career supporting informed strategic decision-making for companies operating in the life sciences field. He has experience driving over 250 consulting engagements to enhance the corporate and business development efforts of clients across therapeutic areas, including the facilitation of strategic transactions totaling over $750 M in total deal value. Prior to joining LifeSci, Trey was a project lead at ClearView Healthcare Partners managing strategy consulting mandates for big pharma and innovative biotech organizations; he also conducted biomedical and engineering research within the Van Tassel lab group. Trey received a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Yale University.

Vanessa joined the LifeSci Consulting team in April 2021. Her work includes asset valuation, transaction comp analyses, competitive landscape, and commercial opportunity assessments across several therapeutic areas. Prior to joining LifeSci, Vanessa worked at the Yale Center for Clinical Investigation supporting clinical research related to COVID-19. She graduated from Yale University with a B.A. in History of Science, Medicine, and Public Health and completed the pre-medicine track. During her time at Yale, she conducted research in the Chun Lab at the Yale Cardiovascular Research Center, served as captain of the Women’s Varsity Lacrosse Team, and volunteered for a non-profit organization called Camp Kesem.

Vanshika joined LifeSci Consulting as an Analyst in 2026. She holds an M.S. in Bioengineering from the University of Pennsylvania and a B.S. in Biomedical Engineering from Columbia University. Her academic and professional experience spans medical devices to pharmaceuticals, with work ranging from software engineering to product management and operations strategy.

At Promaxo, a MedTech startup, Vanshika led the strategy for a cancer treatment planning app by conducting primary and secondary research, ultimately guiding development for a previously unscoped initiative. She brings additional experience from Amgen, where she created a strategy for incorporating generative AI across several global manufacturing sites to increase sustainability, safety, and cost efficiency.

Vanshika is particularly interested in genetics and genomics; she concentrated in this area during her Master's, where her research focused on the development of autism spectrum disorder from a transcriptomics perspective. She is interested in leveraging her technical and business strategy background in biotech to help bring innovative therapies to market.

Victoria joined LifeSci Consulting as a Consultant in 2026 after earning her MD and PhD in Molecular Cell Biology and Genetics through the Drexel University College of Medicine. Her doctoral research focused on applying machine learning and computational structural biology to drug discovery, with an emphasis on predicting protein-protein interactions and identifying molecular glue degraders. Throughout her medical training, she gained broad clinical experience while conducting translational research spanning immunology, oncology, and autoimmune disease.

Victoria was awarded an NIH F30 Physician-Scientist Fellowship to support her dual-degree training and has authored multiple first-author publications in computational biology and clinical medicine. She is passionate about applying scientific and clinical insights to strategic challenges across the biopharmaceutical industry and enjoys working at the intersection of science, medicine, and business to help clients advance innovative therapies that improve patient outcome.

Will Costa joined LifeSci Consulting in September 2025. Before LifeSci, Will spent four years partnering with emerging biotechs on R&D and commercial strategy, first at AlphaSense and then at GlobalData. He delivered data-driven insight services and bespoke consulting across new product planning, M&A, competitive intelligence, market access, due diligence, and BD&L. Will holds a B.A. in Economics and Psychology from Bucknell University.
