Blake Neyland, PhD
Blake joined LifeSci in March 2022 with over 8 years of academic and industry research experience spanning multiple disciplines including neuroscience (aging, Alzheimer’s Disease, Parkinson’s Disease, and other movement disorders), cardiovascular disease, and genetics. He specialized in the use of imaging techniques (MRI, fMRI, PET) to study the mechanisms underlying degenerative age-related processes in the body. Prior to joining LifeSci, Blake received his B.S. degree in Biomedical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) in 2016. He next matriculated in the Neuroscience Graduate Program (NGP) in the Wake Forest School of Medicine and earned his Ph.D. in Neuroscience in 2021. He then completed a postdoctoral research fellowship in the Vanderbilt Memory and Alzheimer’s center.
